Unless otherwise indicated, all our Pilates classes are taught by experienced Helen Smith at the Pilates Studio Yarm. There is a maximum of 12 participants in each class, ensuring the amount of individual attention needed. You will be taught by demonstration, description and gentle touch. Pilates is very hands on! Working at your own pace is essential.
In all classes, different versions of exercises will often be given so everyone works safely and is suitably challenged!
The classes are mat-based. Equipment such as stretch bands, balls, poles and rollers are used to add challenge and interest. All equipment is provided.
Classes are 1 ¼ hours long (unless otherwise stated).
All classes (other than Taster sessions) are taught as courses and are bookable in advance.
