You will be guided , by demonstration, description and gentle touch, through the fundamentals of Pilates. As you progress in strength and technique, the exercises will gradually and safely become more advanced. You will always feel challenged, though working at your own pace.
You will learn to develop greater body awareness, focus, and correct alignment. You will be taught to use deep core muscles to control and stabilise your movement. Through the use of purposeful control, your movements will become more coordinated and flowing. Your stamina will increase. Correct breathing technique and relaxation are an essential part of Pilates.
